GivEnergy Insight 1.4.0 — certificate-free macOS build

WHY macOS SHOWS A WARNING
-------------------------
This free community build is ad-hoc signed but does not have a paid Apple
Developer ID certificate and cannot be notarized by Apple. The app is not
damaged. macOS blocks software it cannot verify until you approve it.

CHOOSE THE CORRECT DOWNLOAD
---------------------------
Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3, M4 and later):
  GivEnergy-Insight-1.4.0-mac-arm64.dmg

Intel Mac:
  GivEnergy-Insight-1.4.0-mac-x64.dmg

INSTALL AND APPROVE ONCE
------------------------
1. Open the correct DMG.
2. Drag GivEnergy Insight into Applications.
3. Try to open GivEnergy Insight once, then dismiss the security message.
4. Open System Settings > Privacy & Security.
5. Scroll to Security and click Open Anyway beside GivEnergy Insight.
6. Authenticate with your Mac password or Touch ID, then click Open.

If macOS still incorrectly says the app is damaged, verify that the download
came from https://givenergyinsight.com/ and that its SHA-256 checksum matches.
Then open Terminal and run this exact command:

  xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/GivEnergy Insight.app"

Open the app again from Applications. This approval is normally needed only
once per installed version.

VERIFY A DOWNLOAD

In Terminal, change to the download folder and run:

  shasum -a 256 GivEnergy-Insight-1.4.0-mac-arm64.dmg

or:

  shasum -a 256 GivEnergy-Insight-1.4.0-mac-x64.dmg

Compare the result with the matching .sha256 file.
