GivEnergy Insight 1.4.0 — Synology DSM public beta

Thank you for testing GivEnergy Insight on Synology.

START HERE
----------
1. Read COMPATIBILITY.md and confirm:
   - DSM 7.1 (build 42661) or newer
   - Intel/AMD 64-bit (x86_64) Synology NAS
   - Node.js v18 installed from Synology Package Center
   - NAS and inverter connected to the same routed local network

2. Verify the downloaded ZIP with its matching .sha256 file.

3. Extract this ZIP. In Package Center choose Manual Install and select:

   GivEnergy-Insight-1.4.0-Synology-x86_64.spk

4. Open GivEnergy Insight from the DSM application menu.

5. Open Remote Access in the app sidebar to create and test a secure DDNS link.

REMOTE URL EXAMPLE

If router port 7500 forwards to DSM HTTP port 5000:

http://ExternalIP:7500/webman/3rdparty/GivEnergyInsight/index.cgi?runtime=dsm

Replace ExternalIP and 7500 with your own public address and forwarded port.
This DSM third-party application path is compatible with DSM 7.1.1 and newer.
The older /givenergyinsight/ path is not registered by this universal package.

SECURITY WARNING
----------------
Do not enter a DSM password over public HTTP. For normal remote use, configure
DSM HTTPS with a certificate, use Synology DDNS/reverse proxy, or connect through
a trusted VPN. Never forward inverter port 8899 or internal app port 43819.
